Delete specific data, and keep your account

Each of these is immediate and needs nobody’s approval. None of them deletes your account.

A profile detail — open Profile (your picture at the top of the chat list, or ⋮ → Profile), clear the field and save. Company name, address, WhatsApp number, the “about” line, country and trade can all be emptied. The stored value is removed, not blanked.
Your profile picture — Profile → Remove picture. The image file is deleted from the server, not merely unlinked from your account.
One message — press and hold it, then Delete. Within five minutes of sending you can also Delete for everyone, which removes it from the other person’s copy too.
A whole conversation — press and hold the chat in the list (or use the ⋮ on the row), then Clear messages to empty it, or Delete chat to remove it from your list.
A contact — ⋮ → Contacts, then remove them. The private nickname you gave them goes with it.
A saved voice note, photo or document — delete the message carrying it, as above.
A device and its sign-in — ⋮ → Notifications → Your devices, then sign it out. That deletes its push registration and ends the session, along with the address recorded when it signed in.
A pending invitation you sent — ⋮ → Contacts, find the person marked Invited · waiting to join and withdraw it. The email address or number stored for them — the one place this app keeps anything about someone who has no account — is deleted with it.
Your backup archives — only the newest three are kept, and older ones are deleted automatically along with the file behind them.

The one thing you cannot take back: a message you sent more than five minutes ago stays in the other person’s copy of the conversation. Deleting it removes yours. That is the same rule every messenger applies, and it is there because a conversation is half theirs.

Delete your whole account

Open ExcelDisc Chat and sign in, if you are not already.
Tap your profile picture at the top of the chat list — or open the ⋮ menu and choose Profile.
Scroll to the bottom of the profile screen.
Tap Delete account, then confirm with Delete permanently.

It happens immediately and cannot be undone. There is no grace period, no recovery window and no archived copy kept against your changing your mind. Signing up again with the same email address creates a new, empty account.

What is deleted

Your account and profile — name, email address, profile picture (the file itself), company name, address, WhatsApp number, about line, country and trade.
Your contacts and the private nicknames you gave them.
Your group and channel memberships, and any answers you gave to a group’s form.
Your blocks, your broadcast lists, and every broadcast consent you gave or were asked for.
Your device registrations and notification settings, and all of your sign-in sessions — including the IP address and browser description recorded with each one.
Your starred messages, your reactions and your pins.
Invitations you sent to people without an account, and the address or number stored for them.
Your support tickets, and reports — both the ones you made and the ones made about you.
Your backup archives — the archive files on the server as well as the records naming them.

What is kept, and why

The messages you sent, in the conversations you sent them to. They stay, with your account detached from them, and they are no longer attributed to you. Deleting them would rewrite other people’s conversations — a quoted reply losing what it replied to, an agreement losing the half that made it an agreement — and that is not one participant’s to do. If a particular message must go, delete it for everyone within five minutes of sending it, or ask the people in that conversation to delete their copies.
Files attached to those messages, for the same reason: the messages holding them remain.
A backup archive somebody already downloaded is on their own computer and beyond anyone’s reach, ours included.
The web server’s ordinary access log, which every web server keeps, holds IP addresses for a short period for security and debugging. Nothing joins it to an account, and it ages out on its own.

No additional retention period. Everything in the first list is removed from the database when you confirm, not queued for a nightly job and not held for thirty days.

If you no longer have the app

Write to info@exceldisc.com from the email address the account uses — that address is what identifies it, so a request from it is proof enough. Say whether you want the whole account deleted or only particular data, and it will be done and confirmed back to you. The same address handles any question about what is held.
